You start burning fat as soon as your temperature and heart rate increase, about 10-15 minutes into the session. You are working at optimal level when you are slightly out of breath, yet still able to talk.


You start toning up when you use your body weight as resistance, such as in the squats, plies, leg kicks, agility moves and floor work.


The dance moves (high or low intensity) and floor work can be modified to accommodate your needs. In fact when you are really listening to your body, you do this naturally.


To stay safe in exercise and movement:


    listen to your body

 ∞   don’t try to do too much too soon

 ∞   warm up and cool down properly

Class Format
